Water Retention

Water Retention treated with Clinical Reflexology

My client was a woman in her early 30′s living at high altitude. She had been traveling by flight as well as traversing the mountain passes. She came in for treatment because she felt bloated, her hands were swollen from water retention, and she was concerned because of really low energy.  I used reflex points in her hands to treat the reason for the water retention and her cheeks pinked up immediately and she left feeling great relief.

Thyroid Issues Treated with Clinical Reflexology

I have used reflexology for thyroid disorders from the very beginning of my career.  I had a thyroid condition in my early thirties and was told the only option for me was to take medication for the rest of my life.  I thought, “What just happened?  I was healthy yesterday and today I am medicated for life?  Where did my body even have the chance to heal naturally?”  I had the innate knowledge that the body could heal itself if given the correct support to heal.  Over the years I have assisted many people in unlocking the puzzle of their thyroid conditions.  I have learned that there are massive DNA patterns connected with this condition and the triggers in life that set thyroid conditions in motion.  Thyroid conditions can be the result of extreme life stresses.  So managing life through setting up a supportive environment is my recommendation.

Healing Joint Pain with reflexology

Healing Joint Pain with Clinical Reflexology

A woman came to a reflexology session complaining of shoulder and arm joint pain.  She explained that she had been unable to reach anything in the back seat of her car since her children had been small.  I also treated her daughter who had a 14-year-old daughter herself, so I understood the length of time she had been affected by the condition.  I did a one-hour session, focusing on the arm and shoulder and told her to wait 21 days before deciding if she needed to seek any other modality for help. She did as I asked, waited the appropriate 21 days and then called to thank me and now recommends reflexology to many other people.

Joint pain comes in many forms and Dawn has had many experiences in the treatment of pain using reflexology techniques. Call Tri Healing Reflexology to schedule your next appointment.

Sciatica Treated with Clinical Reflexology

A 70-year-old man who was a crop dusting pilot was frustrated because his sciatica was keeping him from flying and other activities because of the pain.  I did one treatment of reflexology for sciatica to balance his pelvis and alleviate the pain going down his leg. On the way home to his farm, he noticed that one of his irrigation pivots wasn’t working properly, so he easily climbed up onto it to make the repair, much to his own shock and as well as his wife’s dismay.

This just a singular example of the healing power of clinical reflexology. Dawn Horn is a Certified Master Clinical Reflexologist and the founder of Tri Healing Reflexology in Sedona Arizona. Fertility and Reflexology

Fertility and Reflexology

I have used reflexology to perform many fertility services for women concerning things like preparing the uterus for pregnancy, attending hospital births to help with labor, bringing on labor for mothers opting not to be induced, and assisting in clearing blockages in the female reproductive system.  Helping women before, during and after birth is a great joy. I will share with you one wonderful story about a mom who knew the benefit of having reflexology to bring on labor. I had helped her with reflexology with her first son, so when the time came for her second child, she came in and sat down. I said, “Are you ready to go to the hospital today?”  She said, “Yes.”  So I did the treatment and as she stood up to go, I realized she was already very progressed in her labor without any indications known to her. I said, “You are progressing very quickly so don’t waste any time getting to the hospital!”  I released her from her appointment at 2:00 p.m. and her husband called from the hospital at 5:30 p.m. I said, “Is she in labor? and he said, “No the baby is already here!”

Brain Fog

Brain Fog treated with Clinical Reflexology

I treated a woman whose main complaint was brain fog, sore eyes, and chronic congestion in her sinuses and lungs. She said her whole family struggled constantly with congestion. I uses mainly foot reflexology to loosen the congestion and help it flow. I also noticed that one eye seemed almost closed while the other was fully opened.  I asked her to keep the open eye covered and the other open and moving around the room. When she uncovered her eye she asked if it was possible for her brain fog and sore eyes to be a whole lot better that quickly and I said, “Of course! That is what we told your body to do!”

Brain fog is a symptom that we have all encountered from time to time and is usually a symptom of another issue. Call Dawn Horn to discuss your treatment plan.

A single mother of two little girls was suffering from morphine headaches after being released from the hospital five days earlier. She was not able to care for her family and was totally immobilized, because lifting her head caused massive pain and vomiting.  She originally went to the hospital because of kidney stones but was released without passing the stones and debilitated by the headaches from the medication given to her. A friend recommended she come to see me for reflexology to eliminate Kidney Stones.  When her mother called for her, I told her to bring her and stop on the way to get caster oil.  She took three tablespoons of caster oil and then we did her reflexology session. She sweat profusely while detoxing and passed the kidney stones that evening. The next day when I called to ask how she was, she was in a town 100 miles away having dental appointments with her daughters. Her suffering was over.

Diabetes treated with Clinical Reflexology

My reflexology sessions with Dawn Horn have been the most powerful healing treatments for my diabetes that I have ever experienced.  After my first session my feet and legs felt better than ever. I have a pin in my leg from a car accident and scarring from surgeries. Now most of the pain is gone, my circulation is much better, and, to my surprise, the scarring has been greatly reduced. I have had type 1 diabetes for 32 years. I have noticed many dramatic improvements in my condition, including better blood sugar levels, better vision, better skin, and the need for less insulin. I feel that the most important part of my healing experiences have been the insights that Dawn has been able to give to me about the emotional causes of my imbalances and how to change for the better. I have been able to let go and heal from many stresses in my life.  I am very grateful to Dawn for my healthier life. – Laura, age 46 .

Treating Wrinkles with Clinical Reflexology

I was at a wedding in New York and the bride, who was a client, asked me to do reflexology for wrinkles between her eyebrows.  I said, “Are you sure right before your wedding?”  She said, “Absolutely, I want to look my best in these pictures.”  The wrinkles were softened in a short reflexology session and she was thrilled with her photos.

Skin Issues treated with Refllexology

Skin Issues

Skin Issues treated with Clinical Reflexology

A client with skin issues who worked in a spa as a massage therapist had had a facial at the spa, but the  treatment produced adverse effect on her face for weeks.  The spa had been doing all they knew to help rebalance her blistered, dry, raw skin, but it had not worked. After a reflexology session working on her toes for a few minutes her skin rebalanced and healed. She called me and said the therapists at her spa wanted to do a reflexology for skin issues training because they couldn’t wrap their heads around how working on the toes could clear the face like that, especially after all they had done and the amount of time the condition persisted.

Skin issues can come in a variety of forms, call Dawn Horn to discuss the individual ailments you are experiencing.
