Post Traumatic Stress healed with reflexology

Post Traumatic Stress

Post Traumatic Stress

This story of a client who was treated with reflexology for Post Traumatic Stress (PTSD) involves the issue of child abuse and its long-lasting effect on the lives of many people. My client’s sister brought her to see me after watching her struggle with debilitating pain for most of her life. The client was on high doses of pain medication and having a difficult time mustering the strength needed for every day life. She wanted to stop using pain medication because she didn’t like the effect it had on her brain. Using reflexology, I treated areas representing her spine, hips, shoulders, and head. The biggest release came when she stopped shaking following the release of her hips and pelvis. She left feeling very relieved. At her second treatment she reported that she had decreased her pain medication significantly and was feeling much better.

Pain Management with reflexology

Pain Management

Pain Management with Reflexology

Reflexology is frequently used for pain management. One example is a story about a client who had broken her back and then her left shoulder. She didn’t like laying around because she had things she wanted to do, and the pain kept her from having time to accomplish those things.  Since it took some time for her to heal, we did weekly reflexology treatments, and I taught her husband what reflexes to use to manage the pain. It is amazing what love can do because It looked like that was the shifting point that started to speed her healing.

There are many other example of reflexology assisting with pain management as an alternative to prescription medications. Contact Tri Healing Reflexology to consult with Dawn Horn and the Clinical Reflexology treatments best suited for your individual situation.

Urinary Tract Ailments

Urinary Tract Ailments treated with Reflexology

A 39-year-old woman came for a session after a doctor’s appointment concerning spasming ureter (urinary tract ailments). The doctor told her she would need to take medication for the rest of her life because of the painful nature of the condition. Since she was doing reflexology for a different condition, she just mentioned it to me in passing. I said, “Do you want to take medication for life?”  She answered, “No”, so I said, “Let’s treat your ureters today, too.”  She never took a pill and has not suffered with that condition again even though she is now 51 years old.

This story is just one example of the power of clinical reflexology treating urinary tract ailments, contact Dawn Horn – Tri Healing Reflexology to discuss your individual case to set the best course of action.

Hormone Balance Tri Healing Reflexology

Hormone Balance

Hormone Balance Treated with Clinical Reflexology

When young people struggle with acne (Hormone Balance Issue), it is a sign of possible hormone imbalance. I treated a young lady who was in high school for acne and the underlying cause.  We talked about what was happening from her perspective with her relationships with friends and family, and she admitted some challenges that were caused from her moodiness. I used reflexes in her hand, arm, and ears to encourage the hormone balance. I told her mother to let me know if her complexion improved and she became less moody.

Hormone Balance can be associated with a number of symptoms and is the underlying cause of acne, fatigue and many other issues. Contact Dawn Horn to discuss your individual ailments and set the correct clinical reflexology treatment. Tri Healing Reflexology is based in Sedona but be sure to ask about the traveling schedule.

Rejuvenation with reflexology

Rejuvenation

Rejuvenation with Reflexology

Rejuvenation is almost always the result of a balancing reflexology session.  I treated a woman who came just to experience the rejuvenation she heard was possible with reflexology.  Her family had been living in New York City during and after 9-11. She just felt it couldn’t hurt to support her body after that experience. We did a session and she reported that she felt so good she wanted to know how she could feel like that all the time.

When people think of being rejuvenated it is associated with massage, facials, saunas, salon or a day spa. Experience has shown that the same or greater effects can be felt by employing reflexology. Call Tri Healing Reflexology to book your next Rejuvenation appointment. Tri Healing Reflexology is located in Sedona Arizona but does maintain a travel schedule for those that are located out of the area.

breathing issues treated with reflexology

Breathing Issues

Breathing Issues treated with Clinical Reflexology

A 14-year-old boy was having extreme difficulty with breathing issues and dizziness. He had missed more than a week of school, and although he had gotten a chest x-ray to check for pneumonia, taken an oral antibiotic, was given an antibiotic shot, and was put on an oxygen machine, he still had a pulse ox (the measure of oxygen in the blood) of 80-83. Since normal is 95, his family contacted me. I asked the boy if he remembered getting any food particles caught in his lungs, but he couldn’t because his focus was also challenged. After 10 or 12 days of only being able to be hooked up on an oxygen machine, I did a reflexology session with him focused on his breathing issues. Afterwards I had the parents take him to a fire station where they check pulse ox at no charge, and he was at 95. The boy went to school the next day. He also told me he did remember, before the whole thing started, laughing hard at lunch and getting food caught in his lungs.

Thyroid treated with reflexology

Thyroid

Thyroid Issues Treated with Clinical Reflexology

I have used reflexology for thyroid disorders from the very beginning of my career.  I had a thyroid condition in my early thirties and was told the only option for me was to take medication for the rest of my life.  I thought, “What just happened?  I was healthy yesterday and today I am medicated for life?  Where did my body even have the chance to heal naturally?”  I had the innate knowledge that the body could heal itself if given the correct support to heal.  Over the years I have assisted many people in unlocking the puzzle of their thyroid conditions.  I have learned that there are massive DNA patterns connected with this condition and the triggers in life that set thyroid conditions in motion.  Thyroid conditions can be the result of extreme life stresses.  So managing life through setting up a supportive environment is my recommendation.

Healing Joint Pain with reflexology

Joint Pain

Healing Joint Pain with Clinical Reflexology

A woman came to a reflexology session complaining of shoulder and arm joint pain.  She explained that she had been unable to reach anything in the back seat of her car since her children had been small.  I also treated her daughter who had a 14-year-old daughter herself, so I understood the length of time she had been affected by the condition.  I did a one-hour session, focusing on the arm and shoulder and told her to wait 21 days before deciding if she needed to seek any other modality for help. She did as I asked, waited the appropriate 21 days and then called to thank me and now recommends reflexology to many other people.

Joint pain comes in many forms and Dawn has had many experiences in the treatment of pain using reflexology techniques. Call Tri Healing Reflexology to schedule your next appointment.

Sciatica Treated with Clinical Reflexology

A 70-year-old man who was a crop dusting pilot was frustrated because his sciatica was keeping him from flying and other activities because of the pain.  I did one treatment of reflexology for sciatica to balance his pelvis and alleviate the pain going down his leg. On the way home to his farm, he noticed that one of his irrigation pivots wasn’t working properly, so he easily climbed up onto it to make the repair, much to his own shock and as well as his wife’s dismay.
